Speaking Activities for Multi-Level Classes
The following collection of generic speaking activities where presented at a workshop run by Katherine Munro at the Institute of Modern Languages (University of Queensland) in September 2013. The activities, which all involve students communicating in pairs, are in English and need to be rewritten in the target language. The suggested level is Beginner Level 2.
Below you will find the Indonesian version of the above generic speaking activities, adapted and translated from the generic by Jim Athanasiadis
Speaking Game Cards
The following document has kindly been provided by Cecily Bishop from Darling Heights State School in Toowoomba. Cecily suggests that you laminate the cards and use them to ask and answer questions about animals. Other ways they can be used is as part of a board game, in pair work or the students can just take turns to ask and answer questions in a circle.
