Ayo Membaca offers Indonesian reading lessons in an interactive web environment. While accessing the lessons, the learner is immersed in the cultural context of the reading and is supported by help features, feedback buttons, cultural notes, and vocabulary lists. Using a variety of authentic texts such as maps, advertisements, letters, invitations, and articles, the lessons develop reading skills from the novice through advanced levels. Senior Reading Comprehension
Our Indonesian teaching colleagues in Western Australia have compiled the following reading comprehension sources for Year 11 and 12 students. All you need to do is design your own questions to suit each piece. Remember to include question types which encompass all three levels of comprehension:

- below the line (inference)
- beyond the line

These are pitched at Years 10 - 12 but could probably be used at Year 9 with a little more vocabulary support.
